DIC Chief Disruptor
Eduardo Herrmann
DIC founder, Eduardo Herrmann, is a passionate senior innovation consultant who has occupied various leading positions and has more than 19 years of experience. He holds a Master in International Relations as well as a Master of European Studies. Eduardo is also a certified Innovation Manager.
Eduardo has in particular a long track record as partner and coordinator of international projects funded by different donors (e.g. EU, GIZ), where he has led both technical and non-technical projects.
As a seasoned senior project manager and innovation consultant, Eduardo’s compass is guided by his strategic thinking, pioneer spirit and entrepreneurial mindset.
He is a careful and attentive listener for customers and cooperation partners alike. He always follows a solution-oriented approach by combining and harmonising his analytical skills and intuition.
Eduardo Herrmann is also a passionate entrepreneur (DIC is the second company he founds) and he has been engaged in the last years in various impactful initiatives particularly supporting startups, entrepreneurship and innovation support organisations. He has been particularly active in the Africa-Europe collaboration space in the last ten years.
Las but not least, Eduardo has contributed to various publications, either as main author or as co-author, related to innovation processes in SMEs, roadmapping and international cooperation in S&T between China and the EU, as well as between Africa and Europe.

We support startups and entrepreneurs on successfully implementing their innovation endeavours. We can help to define or fine-tune your innovation strategy, look for suitable EU funding instruments and be your dedicated consultant to apply to EU funds.
We can also assist you to connect with a diverse range of international innovation ecosystems and actors (e.g. corporates, investors, incubators, accelerators, RTD organisations).
We are well aware that cash-flow is a matter of survival for startups and entrepreneurs.

Industry
DIC supports industry customers to sharpen their innovation strategy, draw up their innovation projects, apply for European funding and look for international collaboration partners (e.g. startups, RTD organisations, clusters, hubs).
DIC assists also industry customers to scout for interesting startups in different latitudes, with whom they can team up to bring forward specific technological developments.
DIC can advise you on suitable internationalisation support programmes (market discovery) suiting your product/service and target market.
RTD organisations
We advice RTD organisation on all matters related to EU funding programmes, international partner search and we help to connect them with innovation ecosystems globally.
DIC provides also support on technology transfer aspects and assists RTD organisations to identify suitable industry partners to collaborate with.
